It is certainly worth knowing about the tallest women in the World. Being a tall person can be cool, but when you are the tallest person among the people around you, you may not feel so comfortable, especially when you are a member in a group of women. Although your height is something that God gave you, people may stare at you if you are not of “normal” size. Being tall can come with a lot of advantages, but it comes with its quirks. Anything not in moderation can sometimes be harmful, and if your height is too big you may have a lot of problems socially and even negative impacts in your health. being tall is genetics, but being very tall is often associated with some abnormalities inside your glands. The living being very tall is a big struggle, so these people deserve our respect and praises.
Today, I’m making a list of the top 25 tallest women ever to live. The numbers that the tip of their head hit in the measuring tape are high, and they certainly are going to intrigue a lot of us.
Zeng Jinlian
In the human history, jeans Indian is the tallest woman ever to have been born. Gillian stood 8 feet and 1.75 inches tall. She was born in the Yunnan province in China. Zeng Jinlian took birth on June 26, 1964. When she was four years old she was already 5 feet and 1.5 inches tall. In 1982 she was the tallest recognized person ever. Her tall height almost never helped her at all; she had major issues in her spine. Due to this, she died on February 13, 1982. Jinlian was 17 years old at the time of her demise.

Jane Bunford
The second woman on our list is Jane Bunford. She stood 7 ft and 11 inches tall at the time of her death. Bunford was born a normal child. When she was 11 years old, Bunford had an accident and hurt her head. that led her Pituitary gland to be damaged, and she experienced abnormal height growth. She didn’t like attention at all, and she refused any money for the attention she would get. Her best friend’s name was Emma, and she-she was a dwarf. She is also the tallest recognized Britain. Jane Bunford died in 1922, aged 26.
Yao Defen
Yao Defen is the third tallest woman on our list to ever live on Earth. During her lifetime, grew up to be 7 feet and 8 inches tall. She had a condition named acromegaly. She was already 6 feet into inches tall when she was 12 years old. Yao Defen came from Shucheng in China. Initially, she applied for the World Records, but she didn’t tower over the tallest woman in her time. The Chinese woman wrote her name in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2011, but she passed away in 2012. Defen lived for 40 years.
Sandy Allen
Sandy Allen is the fourth tallest woman in the human history. She was from America. She measured 7 feet and 6 inches tall. In her life, she also wrote a book. her book is called “Cast a giant shadow.” Allen also played in a couple of movies. Ellen never tied the Knot. Born on June 18, 1955, the date of her demise was August 13, 2008. Allen spent the last couple of her years in a wheelchair.
Anna Bates
Anna Bates is also one of the tallest women to ever live on the earth. She was born in 1846 in Canada. She worked in a circus and stood 7 feet and 5.5 inches tall. Bates was a brilliant woman. She was proficient in literature and music. Her spouse was Martin Bates, and he was very tall as well. He stood 7 feet and 7.5 inches tall. They had two children together. Bates left the world on August 5, 1888. She was 41 years old at the time of her death.
Ella Ewing
Ella Ewing is another American woman to make it in the list. She was born a healthy child, but later on her life, she grew up to be 7 feet and 4.5 inches tall. She hated her towering height, but she also realized she could make something out of it. So, she used her stature as an attraction, and she worked in a circus. Some sources even claim that she was eight feet tall. But, they have not been verified. She was born in 1872 in Missouri, and she was the tallest woman living in the earth in her time. Ewing died aged 40 in 1913. She was living in her parent’s farm during the time of her death.
Wassiliki Calliandra
Wassiliki Calliandji was the tallest woman in Greece. Even if she was claimed to be 7 feet and 6.5 inches tall, nothing of it has been verified. All we know about Calliandra is that she was born in 1882 and died in 1904. She used to work in a circus. A lot about her is still unknown, and even what we know is vague. So, we may or may not believe the facts about her.
Delores Pullard
Delores Pullard was 7 feet and 7 inches tall. That is equal to 226 centimeters. She was born on 13 August 1946. Delores weighed 195 kilograms. She also worked in a circus and traveled around. On March 11, 1971, doctors performed a surgery on her to remove a tumor in the pituitary gland. Although initially, they thought the operation was successful, she died eight days later because of the complications. Her life somehow had been incomplete. She died at the age of 25.
Carolina Rascon
Carolina Rascon was born in Mexico. She was 7 feet and 5.5 inches tall. Anyway, this has not been verified completely because she lived in the early 1900s. Carolina, even if she was tall, was considered beautiful- she almost looked like a model. She was said to be a very intelligent woman. According to the stories, she was really strong as well. The newspapers of her time say she could carry a pony in her hands. Rascon could supposedly, support two fully grown adult men in her arms. But despite all this, she never liked to be tall. A lot about her is still unknown, and these facts about her could as well not be true. The newspaper extracts were the source of her stories, and the news could be a hoax as well.
Maria Fassnauer
Maria Fassnauer is the 11th woman on our list. She was born in 1879 in Tyrol, Austria. According to the sources, she could have grown up to be 7 feet and 4 inches tall. But, these sources have not been verified. We didn’t keep her at the top places on the list because of the inadequacy of the information. Anyway, she was a very religious woman. She never liked her tall stature and lived a sad life. She died in 1917 and was emotionally broken during the time of her death. Her existence was true, but everything that’s scarce is the precise information about her true height.
Sun Fang
In the list of top 20 tallest women to ever live on Earth, the sixth woman Sun Fang. She is from China. At the moment, she is also the tallest woman living on the earth. She is 7 feet and 3 inches tall when was born in 1987. Sun Fang has been the tallest woman of the earth since 2012 after the death of Yao Defen. She visits a lot of programs and tells her story and struggles about being tall.
Malgorzata Dydek
The next woman in our list is Malgorzata Dydek. Dydek was 7 feet and 2 inches tall. This woman made good advantage of her height. She was a WNBA professional basketball star. She came from Poland, and she also was pretty good- I mean an exceptional basketball player. Malgorzata Dydek was one of the best defenders in the WNBA in her time. She sadly passed away in 27 may 2011 because of a heart attack. Malgorzata was 37 years at that time. Anyway, she will be remembered for her height and her athleticism.
Zainab Bibi
Moving onto the next woman, Zainab Bibi is from Pakistan. Bibi is the tallest woman from her country. She currently lives in Britain and is about 7 feet and 2 inches tall. She seemed asylum in Britain because she thought she was unsafe in her home country.
Uljana Semjonova
She is 7 feet and 1 inch tall. She is a retired Soviet Latvian basketball player. Semjonova is one of the most renown women basketball players in the history of the game. She won the Olympic Games gold medals in 1976 and 1980. She is also a three-time basketball world championships winner. Besides that, she has also won the European championships three times. Uljana Semjonova was included as a member in the women’s basketball Hall of Fame in 1999. Right now, she is an important and respected member of the FIBA Hall Of Fame.
Caroline Welz
Caroline Welz is also among the tallest 25 women ever. She stands 6 feet and 9 inches from the ground. Welz also is one of the tallest women in Germany.
Gitika Srivastava
Gitika Srivastava is from India. She measures at 6 feet and 11 inches tall. She is the tallest woman in India and is also a professional basketball player. Srivastava was also a part of the Indian National women’s basketball team. Her father is also a retired professional basketball player.
Lindsay Corine Taylor
Lindsay Corine Taylor is 6 feet and 8 inches tall. Corine was a former professional basketball player. She also once played in the WNBA. She was considered an effective center. Her basketball career lasted from 2004 to 2016. She also won an international silver medal for the American national women’s basketball teams. Right now, she works as a coach of a high school basketball team.

She competed in various professional wrestling Leagues such as Rampage Pro Wrestling, Juggalo Professional Wrestling, Absolute Intense Wrestling, and Coastal Championship Wrestling. Lindsay also trained to be a part of WWE, but the management team replaced her.

Elizabeth “Liz” Cambage is the 22nd tallest woman in the history of human beings. She is from Australia, and she plays for the Dallas Wings in the WNBA. She is 6 feet and 9 inches tall, and she was born on 18th August in 1991. The place of birth was London in the United Kingdom. She plays in the center position. Liz was also a part of the WNBA all-star team in 2011. She has also won an Olympic bronze medal for Australia and a Commonwealth Games gold medal for the country. Cambage was one of the highest paid female basketball players in the world- she became that when she played in China.

She is a three times FIBA Europe women’s player of the year.

Heather Greene is the 25th tallest woman of all time. Her height is 6 feet and 5 inches. She is from the Netherlands, and despite her height, she is a very confident woman. Once, an internet hoax was created that stated her to be the tallest woman in the world but that was all false. She lives in Las Vegas at the moment and also has a website to her name. Trijntje Keever
The story of Trijntje Keever is not so clear. She was supposedly a woman born in 1616 and was about 8 feet and 4 inches tall. A lot of her story is unknown. Matter of fact, there is no convincing evidence to believe that she was that tall. But anyway, if the allegations were true, she would be the tallest woman ever to live.
Many sources state her height differently. And it could also be that she was an imaginary character, I mean who knows, right?
These were the women in our list of the top 25 tallest women of all time. A lot of these women have gone through a lot. Their physicality became a blessing for some of them while for some others it was just a reason for the tears. But these women lived through all that, and now do deserve a place in the history. They became examples, which even if you are very different you still can breathe and have you got no reason to give up that easily like they didn’t. I’m not trying to imply that everybody was terrible for them but still how they woke up the next morning it still inspirational.
