BELLO mag #20 cover, Kevin Alejandro has been cast in CBS’ untitled Nick Wootton-Greg Berlanti drama pilot (formerly Golden Boy), which chronicles a cop’s meteoric rise from officer to detective and eventually police commissioner. Alejandro will play the top detective in the squad who is disturbed by the new guy’s arrival and plots to derail his career. Alejandro, who received multiple test offers, is coming off back-to-back regular roles on Sounthland and True Blood. We are so excited about this new show, and very proud of Kevin.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead has signed on to star in The Darkness, a thriller that Daniel Stamm (The Last Exorcism) will direct. The script by Megan Holley (Sunshine Cleaning) is loosely based on the Henry James novel Turn of the Screw. The story follows “a young American student working for a charismatic tutor in an English manor house who becomes convinced that she and the children she is warding are being haunted.”

Kanye West will return to Paris Fashion Week this season with his eponymous collection, his spokesman at the Karla Otto agency said. The singer-turned-designer will show at 9.30 p.m. on March 6 on the sidelines of the official calendar established by the Chambre Syndicale, French fashion’s governing body, but the venue has yet to be confirmed. West’s debut last season drew a star-studded front row, but garnered mixed reviews.

The incredible icon of drag-RuPaul and three of the girls from Logo TV’s DRAG RACE came to E television today to film a skit for my show THE SOUP- Raven (Season 2), Shangela (Season 3), and Chad Michaels (Season 4).

I was on hand for makeup touchups, but these queens came totally glammed up and ready for the camera!!! The art of makeup has always been most apparent through the art of female impersonation in my eyes and the skills and techniques used to create a female form and face on a man pretending to be a woman is an incredible art form that I adore.

I had the pleasure of powdering RuPaul himself, and I had an out of body experience while doing so. To think that way back in RuPaul’s early days of club appearances I got to see him live on stage performing “Supermodel” and now years and years later I was on hand as his makeup artist for a touch up!!! I am so blessed and forever changed by what he has brought to the world of pop culture, gay rights, and beauty as an art form.
