BAROQUE ROMANTICISM by Dolce & Gabbana

The starting point of the Dolce&Gabbana Fall Winter 2013 women’s collection is the tradition of Sicilian Baroque, which has evolved in volumes and processes, experimenting in new cuts and decorations: golden embroideries that recall Baroque mirrors and frames or embroideries made of small points inspired by dining room tapestries; prints of cherubs and angels that appear to have come out of a painting. Enjoy the show, …

In the evening of February 26th Dolce&Gabbana also celebrated the Italian cinema as great source of inspiration of the S/S 2012 Campaign with “Italian Family”, a short movie by Luca Finotti , a movie with real Italian actors starring. The frames appear as an Italian style comedy, where the actors bring to life scenes of a country of southern Italy and the images tell fragments of real life values, essence of Dolce & Gabbana: traditions, family, love, passion and the ability to capture the timeless modernity of the past.

At “La Bella Estate” attended many celebrities like Monica Bellucci, Helen Mirren e Taylor Hackford, Bianca Balti, Sonam Kapoor, Bianca e Coco Brandolini d’Adda, Eros Ramazzotti e Marica Pellegrinelli, Marpessa, Andrea Dellal, Roberto Bolle e Beatrice Carbone, Alek Wek, Franca Sozzani, Anna dello Russo, Mariano Vivanco, Giampaolo Sgura.
